We chose our house for it's fantastic location. It's the last house in the village with only fields beyond it and can be eerily quiet. Although if you're outside you'll sometimes hear the sound of the whistle from the local steam railway. However we are also close to Schumacher College, Dartington Hall and just a mile and a half from Totnes.
Our Dartington B & B near Totnes is really more of a self-contained apartment (and is available self-catering for longer stays). It has a separate entrance (so you can come and go as you please), a large bright bedroom/studio with a table and chairs (where breakfast is served), a small kitchen area (with fridge, kettle, toaster and tea and coffee making facilities), a brand new bathroom (with bath and thermostatically controlled shower) and a entrance hall area with space to hang coats. The room is tastefully furnished with a stone Minster working fireplace, an Art deco desk, Ercol quaker chairs and original oil paintings and etchings.

At our Dartington B&B we serve breakfast in the room. We are also happy to welcome well-behaved dogs. And we can accommodate one child of up to 16 (on a campbed in the main room) for a small additional charge.
There is also a sunny outside area with a table and chairs.

Woodcourt Cottage in Harbertonford
